To create physical sacred space, we choose an object that represents the four elements. Incense to represent Air, a candle to represent Fire, a bowl of water to represent Water, and salt to represent Earth.
Hold your hands over each object and ask the Goddess and God to cleanse, consecrate, and regenerate the object. Visualize a white or light blue light cleansing and consecrating the objects as you Say:
"Lady of the Moon, (or if you prefer to name the Goddess use her name or what you feel comfortable with) I cleanse this water of all negativity in this world and in the astral, I consecrate and regenerate this water in the name of the Lord and the Lady."
Repeat with the remaining objects. When your done, take three pinches of salt and add them carefully to the water, stir the water three times, with the index finger of your dominate hand in a clockwise direction. Then hold your hands over the water, visualizing white light flowing from your palms into the water and say:
"In the name of the Lord and the Lady, i ask for the blessings of Love, harmony, and peace upon this water."
Imagine the water to glow with white light, then beginning with your north object (salt) move around the room, in a clockwise circle, sprinkling the salt as you go, Say:
"I cleanse, consecrate and empower this sacred space with the element of Earth in the name of the Lord and the Lady."
When you get back to the north Say:
"So Mote it Be!"
Pick up the East representation (incense) and do the same thing walking in a clockwise direction, saying:
"I cleanse, consecrate, and empower this sacred space with the element of Air, in the name of the Lord and the Lady. So Mote it Be!"
Now pick up the candle, walk clockwise around the room and say:
"I cleanse, consecrate, and empower this sacred space with the element of Fire, in the name of the Lord and the Lady. So Mote it Be!"
Finally walk clockwise around the room holding the bowl of water, sprinkling the water as you go, say:
"I cleanse, consecrate, and empower this sacred space with the element of Water, in the name of the Lord and the Lady. So Mote it Be!"
Then walk to the center of the room, hold your hands high above your head, palms facing upward, (in the Goddess position) and say:
"In the name of the Lord and the Lady, I cleanse, consecrate, and empower this sacred space with the element of Spirit! So Mote it Be!"
